Rachel was born in Maryland, but has lived in Pennsylvania since she was 10 years old. She was a 2000 Homeschool graduate and a 2004 art school graduate. She joined the staff of Lakemont Veterinary Clinic in July 2011. Her family has always had pets that have included dogs (a Border Collie, a Golden Retriever, two Beagles, and currently an adorable mixed breed named Sunny), rabbits, fish, and for a short time a foster cat. She loves animals and is delighted to be a part of the LVC team!

Rachel currently resides in Altoona, PA. She has two brothers (one of whom is her twin), one sister, and a sister-in-law. She is excitedly looking forward to the birth of her first niece in February 2012!

In her free time, Rachel enjoys drawing/painting, reading, road trips, and – of course - spending time with family and friends.
