Dr. Yeager was born in Elizabeth, PA, just outside of Pittsburgh, PA.  She got her Bachelor of Science degree at Westminster College.  She then received her DVM degree from The Ohio State University.  Prior to graduation, she worked a one month externship at the Avian & Exotic Animal Medical Center in Miami, FL.

Dr. Yeager practiced at Northview Animal Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA for five years prior to joining the team at Lakemont Veterinary Clinic in 2003.  Her areas of special interest include avian, small exotic animal medicine, and ultrasound.  

When she’s not working, she enjoys reading, knitting, exercising, and cheering on her hometown Pittsburgh sports teams.  In addition to her husband and two children, Dr. Yeager shares her home with Otis, a chocolate lab, Sammy, a guinea pig, two cockatiels – Cosmo and Newman, and several hermit crabs whose names change from day to day.
