Born & raised in Central PA, Lisa has worked for the Lakemont Veterinary Clinic since 1979 when she was a sophomore at Hollidaysburg Senior High. After graduating from Penn State in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Lisa worked part-time for a few years for her father who had an insurance agency in Hollidaysburg. At that time she was also working part-time entering files into a new computer system at Lakemont Veterinary Clinic. Since 1991 she has worked full-time as a technician at Lakemont Veterinary Clinic and was promoted to Practice Manager in February 2010.
In March of 2014, Lisa earned the distinction of Certified Veterinary Practice Manager by passing the certification exam offered by the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. The certification measures the knowledge and experience necessary to successfully manage a veterinary practice and requires a commitment to improvement through continuing education. This designation is VHMA's highest professional distinction.
Lisa currently resides in Duncansville with her husband Rick, 3 Australian Shepherds and 2 cats. She enjoys training and showing her dogs, and watching Pittsburgh Penguins hockey and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball.
